Memory Bank

Last night we spent the evening finishing up the list of things due for the yearbook. It is Mandy's senior year and there is a long list of "to-do's" for seniors. The task at hand last night was finalizing the decision on what portrait to put in the yearbook, what baby picture to use and what pictures we wanted for the dedication page. Wow...so many memories were withdrawn from the memory bank.

It was a nice walk down memory lane...it also brought forth the realization that she is all grown up. You know how when you look back at a baby picture it takes you back to a specific place and time? There were a lot of those as I looked through the scrapbook while selecting pictures.

She had to work on her favorite quote, personal motto and special memories. She put it perfectly..."How do you pick just one favorite memory?" You just can't. There are so many special memories, fun times and things that will be cherished forever.

We have been blessed with two beautiful children that have given us a lifetime of memories...I look forward to making many more deposits in that bank as we see what the future brings.

Thursday's Trivia

The greatest snowfall ever in a single storm was 189 inches at the Mount Shasta Ski Bowl in February, 1959.

(We could use some of that now!)
