Today is game day! Midland University will kick off their football season against Dakota State University. Unfortunately, it's in Nebraska and I won't get to watch my son play in person. The good thing is there is live internet video streaming, so at least we can watch.
It is a hard thing not being able to attend all of his games. While our kids have grown up, we attended pretty much everything they did. In fact, it is game day for our daughter too. We are leaving in a few minutes for a volleyball playday.
Watching our children play sports is one of my favorite things to do. The time goes fast. It wasn't that long ago our son was playing Junior High Flag Football and our daughter was playing U-6 soccer!
Cherish the times, take a lot of pictures and pencil every game in your schedule. They are some of the best memories I have.
Midland University now has a live video feed...watch here. Go Warriors! That game is at 7 pm Central time, 5 pm Pacific time.
For now....it's time for some volleyball!
