A Holiday Filled with Joy...Day 26
Another Christmas has come and gone. It happens too fast. We were talking on Christmas Eve about how the kids used to try to stay up all night. They would watch movies and count down the hours until the morning. They would debate when they could come and wake us up.
We had a fun conversation about all of the things we used to do. We couldn't exactly remember what all of our gifts were or what we had for dinner, but we could remember a lot of little things that meant a lot.
I wonder if our children will carry on some of these traditions when they have their own families? The memories are so clear and fill my heart. It seems like it was yesterday. I am thankful for the gift of making memories. I am thankful to know that we have many more memories to make in the future.
