Home. What does it mean to be home? When we talk about our son in college coming home, he is coming here to our house. He is here for a visit. Then a few short weeks later, we talk about him going home to his house in Nebraska.
They say home is where the heart is...I find that to be so true. Home is that place where you can be yourself, you are comfortable, where you are understood and where feel at home. Home is safe, warm and loving. Home is more than the walls around you. Home is what fills your heart, nurtures your dreams and bears your burdens.
Home can be more than one place. Home can be where you grew up, home can be where you are now. Home is more a feeling than a place. Home is a comfort. Home is a blessing.
Home accepts you as you are and loves you unconditionally. Home is family. Home is friends. Home is the people you need to make your life complete. Home is filled with material and abstract things. Home is the place your heart feels full.
