Awakening to snow produces such a feeling of warmth. Though cold outside, my heart feels warm. The warmth of winter is finally here.
Fluffy coats, soft mittens and fuzzy hats waiting to be put on after resting in the closet for way too long.
The glow of a burning fire and the popping of the wood ready to warm cold bodies that come inside from the snow.
Hot chocolate filled with marshmallows, spicy cider or coffee poured in abundance to share by the fireside.
Time spent inside, as it is too stormy to go out brings out the warmth of a family's heart as they get this time out.
Though the thermometer says cold I have to disagree, the warmth of the winter is everywhere you can see.
